Giving Thanks
November 23, 2011 by Aspen Grille

We have been blessed with a wonderful fall season at the restaurant so far. Business has been great with lots of smiling familiar faces as well as new diners, who we hope will return soon. With Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah right around the corner, I thought it would be a great time to focus on something other than food and wine.

After purchasing the Aspen Grille in June of 2009, Jennifer and I felt the need to become active in the community in which we were doing business. It did not take long to realize how many great opportunities we would have. Myrtle Beach may seem like a small town in some respects, but the passion and strength of its community leaders and organizations is pretty amazing. We soon realized opportunities for involvement would be plentiful.

We have been pleased and fortunate to support and partner in events such as the Fashion Art Ball benefiting The Make A Wish Foundation, The Signature Chef\'s Auction benefiting The March of Dimes, Dancing with the Horry County Stars benefiting the K-12 Education Foundation, BOCA benefiting Fostering Hope, as well as many others.  The strength of the leaders and passion of the supporters is very special. They really are making a difference in our local community.

Our participation in these events would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from our very talented staff at the restaurant. It takes time and effort outside of the already demanding schedule of daily restaurant operations. We are very grateful to our staff for their ongoing support.

We hope others will look into these organizations for involvement opportunities. Not only do they put on great events each year, but the causes are very important to our communities. We hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday season, and we hope to see you soon at the Aspen Grille!

Regards,

Curry
